Ross Mansion is only about 30 minutes by car from Historic Downtown Laurel. Guests may also board the TRAIN in the morning, just blocks from the Ross Mansion, and get dropped off in in the middle of downtown Laurel, then catch the train back to Ross Mansion in the late afternoon. Advance reservations are recommended.
Ross Mansion is just a 5 minute walk from the beautifully refurbished Hattiesburg Train Depot, one of the longest train depots in America.
Book day trip by train for about 12-15 dollars each way to historic Laurel, departing from this depot after a delectable Ross Mansion breakfast.
The train leaves late morning and returns the same day in the late afternoon.
